When we set sail with this idea to create SeaRiously, we knew we needed a different vessel that offered a breakout hull design, a deck layout more amenable to the demands of anglers and crew, a ton of livewell capacity for bait, below deck storage/fish boxes, and a more secure work space and confident foothold when the weather gets rough—and even when she isn't. In other words, a unique open design with the freeboard and fuel capacity to run offshore in total comfort and confidence, while not taking nearshore and inshore capabilities away with an overly deep draft (how shallow we can go), and thus, do-it-all whether we're fishing or whether we're simply cruising the waterways watching the sunset.

But we also wanted a boat that was insanely family friendly—such as forward seating incorporated into the design for non-fishing duty; a removable filler deck can be inserted into the void between the seats allowing a raised casting deck platform or use as a dining table in the upper position; a coffin box that could serve as a useful sun lounge while creating an above deck insulated fish hold; a rear casting deck that had a wide center seat which folds out of sight; and of course, an insane amount of storage.
